In studio guests are Nikki Powerhouse, famed Philadelphia performance artist, and stylist Damien West.

Also, the film that I voted the best movie of the year, Pariah, is in theaters now.  Please support this phenomenal flick about a black, lesbian teen in Brooklyn and her coming of age story.  Click here for my review.

Listen to Rahsaan Patterson and Pariah’s Dee Rees on ‘Clay Cane Live’

Last night on WWRL’s Clay Cane Live, R&B singer Rahsaan Patterson discussed his latest album Bleuphoria, which features Lalah Hathaway, Faith Evans, Shanice and Jody Watley. In addition, his cleared up the controversial ’07 comments where he reportedly said the reason why he is gay is because he was sexually abused.  Patterson also explained his being gay is a “choice” statement.

I also talked with the director of the new film Pariah, Dee Rees, which opens in New York on December 28th.  This the film is a must-see, starring Kim Wayans and Adepero Oduye.
