The head of Stellantis promised not to destroy Chrysler

In our country, the Chrysler brand is represented by only one car – Pacfica minivan. And even that one, if you believe the statistics, sells a little more than nothing. But even on the world market, its business is not going well

Before the merger, the Chrysler brand was something like a second leg for the Fiat concern. Even on the domestic market, the lineup for several years already consisted of two outdated models, and sales of those were far from high. For example, in 2020, sales fell by almost 15 percent.  Actually, the logical step would be to close the brand, but the leadership of the new Stellantis alliance decided otherwise.

During a recent conference, the head of the Stellantis concern, Carlos Tavares, said that Chrysler was destined for a long life. Moreover, he called it one of the pillars of the alliance, that is, the conglomerate is making a serious bet on this brand.  Let's hope that Chrysler will shine in the automotive arena, since Travers hinted that something interesting awaits us in a few months.
