Ferrari has declassified its Purosangue crossover
Throughout its 75-year history, Ferrari has not turned its attention to the crossover segment. Today everything has changed – the first crossover is presented – Purosangue. I must say that Ferrari became one of the last sports car manufacturing companies to “enter” into the SUV segment
With a length of 4973 mm, a width of 2028 and a height of 1589 mm, the SUV from Maranello turned out to be more compact than its competitors. It is inferior in length to the Lamborghini Urus by almost 14 centimeters, the Bentley Bentayga and the Aston Martin DBX — 17 and almost 7 centimeters, respectively. And in general, Purosangue's appearance is far from traditional crossover forms – the silhouette here is squat, and is more like a traditional sports car.
At the start, the new product will be offered with a V12 engine (with cut-off at 8250 rpm), developing 725 horsepower and 716 Nm of torque. Later, hybrid versions based on V6 and V8 engines are expected to appear. It must be said that the car can accelerate to hundreds in less than three and a half seconds.
