The Chinese company BAIC presented the Beijing EU5 PLUS sedan, which is an electric modification of the BAIC U5 Plus model, well known in Russia. The car was valued at 158,900 yuan (approximately 2,033,00 rubles)

The design of the new product corresponds to the gasoline version, the only thing is  it does not have a radiator grille, and instead of boomerang-shaped LED blocks, it is now horizontal. Already in the base the car will receive 17-inch wheels. The interior has also been slightly updated. A single digital unit for the multimedia system and instrument cluster is also installed on the front panel. diagonals of 12.3 inches each. The blowers and climate control button panel received chrome inserts. The design of the steering wheel and the layout of the elements on the central tunnel have also changed.

The EU5 PLUS is equipped with one electric motor with a capacity of 163 hp. and 240 Nm of torque. Battery capacity – 60.7 kWh. Maximum range – 501 km (NEDC). It is noted that in 30 minutes you can charge a car from 30 to 80%.
