The FAW-Volkswagen joint venture has announced the start of pre-sales of the new ID.7 Vizzion electric sedan. Prices in China start from 237,700 yuan (at the current exchange rate – 2,924,000 rubles)

In fact, this model replaces the Volkswagen Passat, which was discontinued relatively recently. The appearance of the ID.7 was declassified back in the spring of this year, when the car was undergoing certification in China. Interestingly, the ID.7 visually resembles a liftback, but in fact it is a classic sedan with an isolated luggage compartment.

A 15-inch multimedia system screen is installed in the cabin. The proprietary operating system ID.OS 2.0 is responsible for its operation. The main feature is the signature Sky View glass roof, which can block 99% of ultraviolet rays and more than 83% of heat. Dimensions of the new product: 4956/1862/1537 mm, with a wheelbase of 2965 mm.

The standard version of the ID.7 Vizzion is driven by a single electric motor with a power of 204 hp. and 310 Nm of torque. An all-wheel drive version with two electric motors producing 107 hp will also be available. (front) and 204 hp. (behind). At the moment, customers are offered a battery with a capacity of 84.8 kWh. The single-wheel drive version will have a range of 642 km, and the all-wheel drive version will have a range of 570 km. However, when full sales begin, the standard version will be offered with a 77 kWh battery. The maximum speed for both versions is limited to 155 km/h.
