Volkswagen is preparing to expand its lineup with its first electric station wagon, the ID.7 Tourer. The main market for the car will be Europe

In terms of design, the ID.7 Tourer is almost identical to the ID.7 liftback. They also have an identical length – 4961 mm and a wheelbase – 2971 mm. The width and height are 1862 mm and 1536 mm respectively. The new body made it possible to increase the luggage space to 605 liters, and with the rear row folded – 1714 liters. It is noted that without the need to fold the rear seats, objects up to 1075 mm long can be placed in the trunk. One of the main features of the car is the panoramic roof, which can be darkened at the touch of a button.

The ID.7 Tourer is equipped with a single electric motor producing 282 hp. and 545 Nm of torque. The same motor also powers the liftback. Buyers are offered a choice of two batteries with capacities of 77 kWh or 86 kWh. The maximum range is 685 km. The battery supports a fast charging system with a power of up to 200 kW. From 10% to 80% the car will be able to “refuel” in 30 minutes.
